𝐋𝐞𝐡, DD: In a swift response to a viral social media post, Leh Police has taken cognizance of a serious incident involving an Indian tourist recklessly riding a motorcycle within restricted areas of Pangong Lake and the sand dunes of Nubra Valley.

The individual was seen driving the motorcycle dangerously and in an unusual manner, thereby endangering not only his own life but also the safety of other tourists present in these ecologically sensitive zones.

Following this, a case has been formally registered at the concerned police station under FIR No. 12/2025 U/S 125, 292 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023.
The investigation is currently underway, and appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings.
