ππ²π¨π¦π,DD, A one-day training session on immunization and micro planning was successfully conducted at the block headquarters of PHC Nyoma. The training aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of health workers in the region, focusing on critical areas in the immunization process.
The session was attended by 65 participants, including Medical Officers, CHOs, ANMs, and ASHAs from Nyoma. Key highlights of the training included Immunization Schedule, U-Win Portal, AEFI and Microplanning.
A detailed presentation on the immunization schedule for various age groups emphasized the importance of timely vaccination. Training on the U-WIN portal focused on effective usage to improve programmatic efficiency, track immunization data, and manage health records. In addition, discussions centered on various types of Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI), monitoring procedures, and reporting mechanisms. Further, strategies for creating effective micro plans to implement immunization activities at the grassroots level were discussed, with emphasis on community engagement and mobilization to increase vaccination coverage.DD
