23rd Col Rinchen Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament Concludes Successfully

Leh, DD: The 23rd Col Rinchen Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament concluded today with an exciting final match between the Pathan club Bogdang VS united Panamik Cricket Team. Panamaik team won the match by 33run The tournament, which saw participation from 27 teams, was a thrilling showcase of cricketing talent.

The event was organized by Samtan Otsal Tsogpa (SOT) and was graced by distinguished guests, including Hon’ble Councillor Tegar Sh Rigzen Lundup, who served as the Chief Guest, along with Smt Punchok Angmo, sister of the late Col Rinchen,Tsering Punchok, a family member, LP Namgial, President of the LBA, and other notable dignitaries.

In his address, Councillor Tegar extended his gratitude to SOT Sumoor for their continuous dedication to organizing this tournament for the past 23 years, helping to promote cricket and sportsmanship among the youth.

The tournament was a tremendous success, showcasing the exceptional talent and enthusiasm of all participating teams. The organizers and dignitaries extended their congratulations to the winners and participants, recognizing their dedication to the sport. Col. Rinchen, renowned throughout the country for his valor, bravery, and patriotism, is a beloved son of Sumoor village. This tournament is held annually in his honor to celebrate his enduring legacy.DD
