45-Metre Steel Bridge at Sadda Nallah, Mangrote Gets Operational

RAJOURI: Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today inaugurated a 45-metre span single-lane steel motorable bridge over Sadda Nallah at Mangrote, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the road connectivity in the region.

The event was attended by MLA Budhal, Javed Iqbal Choudhary, MLA Kalakote, Thakur Randhir Singh, DDC Member Budhal Old-A, Shazia Kousar and DDC Member Moughla, Shamim Akhter besides senior officers and media persons.

Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the newly constructed bridge will provide all-weather connectivity to the local population, ease transportation difficulties and ensure safer movement for the commuters.
He said that the UT government is committed towards bridging the infrastructural gaps in rural and remote areas and ensuring equitable development across all regions.

In another major development initiative, the Deputy Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for construction of an inspection hut along with allied works at Sadda, Kalakote.
He said that the facility will strengthen administrative presence and improve monitoring and implementation of development works in the area.

During the visit, Surinder Choudhary interacted with the public, listening to their grievances.
He assured time-bound redressal of all genuine demands raised by the people. He emphasized that the government is following a people-centric and proactive approach to governance, with special focus on addressing grassroots-level issues.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Budhal Javed Iqbal Choudhary lauded the UT administration for prioritizing infrastructure development in far-flung areas. He said that such projects play a vital role in improving the quality of life of the people.

MLA Kalakote Thakur Randhir Singh also expressed gratitude to the government for approving key developmental works for the constituency.

The general public appreciated the developmental initiatives, terming them a long-pending demand that will significantly improve accessibility, enhance commuter safety and support effective administrative oversight in the region.DD
