68 African migrants killed in US airstrike in Yemen, claims media reports

SANAA (YEMEN): – As many as 68 African migrants have lost their lives in a United States air strike on a detention centre which was established in North – West Yemen – an area under the control of the armed group, as per the reports published in the international media.
Besides death, the reports claim that 47 migrants sustained injuries, mostly critical when they were bombed by the US war planes.
Earlier, the US Central Command had announced that its forces had hit over 800 targets since the US President Donald Trump ordered an intensification of the air campaign against the Houthis on March 15, 2025.
These strikes have killed hundreds of Houthi fighters including their leaders, as per the claims made by the US authorities. However, the Houthi – run authorities have claimed that these strikes have killed dozens of civilians. (Agencies)
