RAMBAN, Feb 25,DD: Vivek Bhandral DIG CRPF Jammu North Ops Range Inaugurated Washroom Complex at G Coy 84 Bn CRPF at Chanderkote Ramban.In the presence of N Ranbir Singh Commandant 84 Bn, Arvind Kumar Dixit Second in Command, Unit personnel of 84 Bn being midway between Jammu and Srinagar, many times, especially during Amarnath Yatra and Elections.CRPF and other SF are compelled to make halt at Chanderkote due to landslide, snow fall, etc. During to the open ground parking facility available at the G Coy CRPF location is also a main halting point. Earlier, only a handful of toilets were available and whenever additional transients are diverted, the Coy and transients faced extreme hardship due to scarcity of toilets.While speaking during the function, Vivek Bhandral DIG stated that it is the responsibility of the senior commanders to ensure the basic needs of the troops so that they can perform their assigned duties without any hassles.The Washroom Complex, comprising 10 toilets and 04 bathrooms have been constructed under CSR scheme sponsored by M/s Petronet LNG Limited.With the opening of this Complex, the Unit personnel and transients will have a comfortable stay at this camp, especially during SANJY, Elections, Rainy Season, Snow Fall.
