Udhampur,DD:- Police Team of Police Post Tikri led by IC PP Tikri while performing Patrolling/checking duty at Tikri naka point intercepted one suspicious person, who on seeing police party tried to escape from the spot but was apprehended by the police party.
On frisking of said apprehended person namely Pawanjeet Singh S/O Mohan Singh R/O Sundrani, Chiryai Muttal, Tehsil Tikri District Udhampur. Police team recovered 3.38 grams of Heroin like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, A Case FIR No. 09/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Rehambal.Further investigation of case is underway.DD
