Jammu/Kashmir, DD, A Delegation of from Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust led by Patron-in-Chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary and accompanied by Chairman Arshad Ali Choudhary and General Secretary Er. Mohammad Sadiq Azad, had the honor of calling upon Chief Minister Jammu & Kashmir (UT), Jnb. Omar Abdullah Sahib. They extended their congratulations to him on becoming the Chief Minister of J&K (UT), following a remarkable victory to his party in 2024 Assembly Elections and discussed pressing issues concerning Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust & the Community.
The delegation also apprised the Hon’ble Chief Minister about the future plans, ongoing projects and initiatives taken by the Trust towards Socio-Economic, Educational and Cultural upliftment of the Gujjar-Bakerwal Community. The discussion also highlighted the challenges faced by the Community in Jammu & Kashmir and the Hon’ble Chief Minister assured his full cooperation & support to the delegation for upliftment & development of the marginalised communities including Gujjars & Bakerwals. The Hon’ble Chief Minister also appreciated the contributions of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust under the leadership of Patron-in-Chief Haji Abdul Hamid Choudhary and his team for their interest and initiatives taken towards the development & welfare of Gujjar Community.
An invitation was also extended to HCM for paying a visit to GDCT to have an interaction with Trustees and Students for the guidance and encouragement of the Community. The Delegation expressed their gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for his sincere efforts towards the peace & prosperity of Jammu & Kashmir & for his kind consideration and commitment for the upliftment of downtrodden communities of Jammu & Kashmir.DD
