Jammu, DD, Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh expressed deep sorrow over the demise of veteran BJP leader and former Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas. Chugh stated that the passing of Shamsher Singh Manhas is a significant loss for the party and the region of Jammu and Kashmir.
Chugh added that Manhas joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1980 and was one of its founding members. His organizational skills and unwavering dedication to the party played a pivotal role in strengthening the BJP. He served as the Jammu and Kashmir BJP State President from 2009 to 2012 and as a Member of the Rajya Sabha from 2015 to 2021.
Chugh remarked that Manhas’s life was a testament to his commitment to the ideals and principles of the BJP. His leadership and guidance will continue to inspire us. Extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Chugh prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.DD
