Awareness Programme at GDC Udhampur and Training Session at District Police Lines, Udhampur on New Criminal Laws by Udhampur Police

Udhampur, DD :- Udhampur Police organised a dual-awareness initiative focusing on the newly introduced criminal laws, with sessions held at Government Degree College , Udhampur and the District Police Lines (DPL) Udhampur. At GDC, students from various disciplines participated in an informative session conducted by DySP Hqrs. Udhampur Prehlad Sharma. The session focused on the key features and implications of the three new criminal laws enacted by the Indian Parliament. Students engaged in thoughtful discussions, exploring how these laws would strengthen the criminal justice system and enhance its efficacy. Similarly , a specialised training session was organised for police personnel at the District Police Lines, Udhampur. The session aimed at equipping the officers with a detailed understanding of the new laws to ensure their effective application in law enforcement. The training covered practical aspects of implementing the laws and their potential impact on the policing process. These initiatives were part of Udhampur Police’s continued efforts to raise awareness and ensure that both the public and law enforcement are well-prepared to navigate the changes brought about by the new criminal laws.
