Udhampur :DD, As a part of its ongoing initiative to raise awareness about the newly introduced criminal laws, District Police Udhampur organized an informative sessions at Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar and in HSS Khoon, Majalta.
At GDC Ramnagar, session was conducted by SDPO Ramnagar, Manjeet Singh and PSI Yogeshwar, where students were actively participated. The session focused on the key features of the new criminal laws and their potential impact on the criminal justice system. Students engaged in thoughtful discussions, exploring how these laws could strengthen the legal framework and improve the effectiveness of law enforcement.
A similar programme was held at HSS Khoon, Majalta, where PSI Gaurav Slathia led a session aimed at educating students of HSS Khoon about the new laws and their significance in promoting justice. The session highlighted the importance of understanding these laws to ensure a more informed, responsible, and law-abiding society.
Earlier, awareness sessions were also conducted in the towns of Chenani and Kud, ensuring that a wider section of the community is informed about the new criminal laws and their implications.DD
