Ramban, DD, The Full Dress Rehearsal for the 76th Republic Day celebrations was held with patriotic fervor at the District Police Lines, Ramban. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Varunjeet Singh Charak, unfurled the National Flag and took the salute from the participating contingents.
During the rehearsal, the ADC meticulously inspected the parade, which featured contingents led by Dy. SP DAR Imtiyam Ahmed, representing the Police, IRP, Forest Protection Force, Women Contingent of J&K Police, and students from various educational institutions. Commending the seamless arrangements made by different departments, the ADC highlighted the significance of the occasion and appreciated the collective efforts for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations.
The parade was followed by vibrant cultural programs, including performances by local artists and students from Ramban’s educational institutions, showcasing the district’s rich cultural heritage.
Prominent attendees included Additional SP Gourav Mahajan, ACR S. Harpal Singh, ACP Ashfaq Ahmed, CEO Bikram Singh, DSWO Rahul Gupta, Dy. SP Om Prakash, XEN PWD Abhishek Gupta, Tehsildar, heads of various departments, and other officials.
