Jammu, DD,Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister has called for an urgent meeting of the INDIA alliance to chart out a cohesive strategy for the future, citing the rapidly changing political landscape across the country. “It’s high time for the INDIA alliance to meet and devise a future strategy,” the CM asserted, emphasizing the need for opposition unity to address emerging challenges effectively.

Commenting on the recent budget announcement, the CM welcomed the income tax exemption up to Rs 12 lakh, describing it as a “big relief” for the middle class. “If there’s any money left in the pockets of the middle class, that’s good,” the CM remarked, highlighting the financial pressures faced by ordinary citizens amid rising living costs.

When asked about the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, the CM refrained from making definitive predictions but acknowledged the unpredictability of voter sentiment. “Can’t predict who will win. Who knows, AAP may even sweep the elections,” the CM stated, reflecting on the dynamic political environment in the national capital.

The CM’s remarks come at a critical juncture, with both national and regional politics witnessing significant shifts, making the INDIA alliance’s next moves crucial in the run-up to future elections.(DD)
