Doda, (DD): The district administration Doda conducted a mock drill today from 9 to 10 AM, focusing on police vigilance during lockdown scenarios.

The exercise aimed to test the preparedness of law enforcement agencies and assess their ability to handle emergency situations effectively.

According to Police Doda, the mock drill was designed to evaluate multiple aspects of security management, including:

Police deployment and movement during lockdowns

Coordination between law enforcement and district administration

Response to potential threats or law-and-order disturbances

Public safety measures and crowd control strategies

A senior police officer stated that such drills are essential for strengthening emergency response plans and identifying any gaps in security protocols.

“This exercise is crucial in ensuring that our forces remain prepared for any eventuality. It helps us fine-tune our strategies and enhance coordination between different agencies during lockdown situations,” said the official.

The drill also involved simulations of various scenarios, including enforcing movement restrictions, managing checkpoints, and responding to potential security threats. Officers from multiple units participated in the exercise, working together to implement and evaluate their response strategies in real-time.

Authorities emphasized that regular mock drills will continue to be conducted to keep security forces well-trained and alert. The public has been urged to cooperate with law enforcement agencies during such exercises, as they play a crucial role in ensuring community safety and effective crisis management.(DD)
