Kishtwar, DD, On the directions of SSP Kishtwar, Shri Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS, J&K Police District Kishtwar organized an awareness program at Government ITI Kishtwar to educate trainees on newly enacted criminal laws and other key legal issues.
Additional SP Kishtwar, Shri Pawan Kumar Sharma, addressed the gathering, highlighting the key provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), 2023. The session also covered topics such as cybercrime, traffic regulations, women’s safety, and drug abuse prevention.
Over 200 trainees and faculty members participated, engaging in discussions and raising queries. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the ITI administration, appreciating J&K Police’s efforts in legal awareness and community engagement.DD
