JAMMU: DD,Jammu and Kashmir Government today promoted 74 Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS).
As per the promotion order issued by the Govt order number 262-JK (GAD) of 2025 (dated 19-02-2025), the sanction is hereby accorded to the promotion of following Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 11 (67700 – 208700), with effect
from 01, 01, 2025, on a notional basis and on a regular basis from 07.02.2025.
Consequently, 19 of the above JKAS officers were designated as Deputy Secretary in their respective departments.
“Rest of the officers shall continue at their present place of posting, till further orders,” the order reads.
It says that the above promotion shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition (s), if any, pending before competent court(s) of law.DD
