Kargil, DD: Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Sankoo in collaboration with Traffic Police Kargil, Assistant Regional Transport Office Kargil, and All Transport Associations Kargil organized an awareness program on “Traffic Rules and Regulations” at Auditorium Hall Kargil.
The event was presided by Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Sankoo/ Special Judicial Mobile Magistrate, Kargil, Deldan Angmo. DySP DAR Kargil, DySP Traffic Kargil, ARTO Kargil and President all Transport Associations Kargil were guests cum speaker on the occasion.
The programme aimed to educate the public, especially drivers and transport operators, on the significance of adhering to traffic laws for safer roads and a disciplined transportation system.
DTI, Kargil, Insp. Mohd Nissar addressed the audience with welcome speech and briefed about traffic regulations in Kargil. Dy SP DAR Kargil, Tundup Dorjay presented a power point presentation on rate of accidents in Kargil.
President all Transport Association, Kargil, Advocate Reyaz Ahmad Khan stressed upon the Motor Accident Claim Tribunal cases in Kargil.
The presiding guest Deldan Angmo, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Sankoo/ Special Judicial Mobile Magistrate, Kargil addressed the audience with traffic laws and rules and presented some video clips to aware the audience about negligence of drivers in causing accidents.
ARTO, Kargil, Khadim Hussain presented a conclusive speech about significance of vehicle documents and responsibilities of drivers in making a safer society. The programme was concluded by vote of thanks from DySP Traffic Kargil Anayatullah.
The program witnessed active participation from transporters, drivers, and the general public, fostering a collective commitment toward safer roads in Kargil.
