Kishtwar, DD: On the directions of DIG DKR Range, Shridhar Patil-IPS, J&K Police District Kishtwar organized a Nasha Mukti Abhiyaan at Government Middle School, Dhar Saroor, in memory of Martyr SPO Jahn Mohd under the Civic Action Programme.The event was led by Addl. SP Kishtwar Pawan Kumar-JKPS, who was accompanied by Dr. Varun Gupta, Medical Officer Drabshalla, and other prominent figures of the area. Addressing the gathering, Addl. SP Kishtwar emphasized the grave consequences of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society. He reiterated the strict legal action against those involved in drug trafficking and consumption.The programme saw an overwhelming response with nearly 250 participants, including students, teachers, and locals. An awareness session was conducted on the physical, psychological, and social impacts of drug addiction. Addl. SP Kishtwar urged parents to remain vigilant and involved in their children’s lives to prevent them from falling into the trap of substance abuse.J&K Police Kishtwar reaffirmed its commitment to a drug-free society and assured that such awareness campaigns will continue across the district.
