Kishtwar,DD, Leader of Opposition (LOP) Sunil Sharma visited the upgraded water reservoir in Hata Poochal to assess improvements in the region’s water supply infrastructure. The newly enhanced reservoir aims to provide a more reliable water supply to the residents, addressing long-standing concerns about water shortages.
During the visit, Sharma interacted with local officials and residents, emphasizing the importance of robust infrastructure for sustainable development. He assured them that continued efforts would be made to enhance civic amenities in Kishtwar.
Later, Sharma visited the Saffron Park in Poochal, Kishtwar, a significant initiative aimed at boosting the local economy. Recognizing saffron cultivation as a vital industry for the region, he reiterated his commitment to promoting Kishtwar’s economic growth through agricultural and infrastructural development.
“The Saffron Park will play a crucial role in strengthening Kishtwar’s economy, creating employment opportunities, and supporting local farmers. We will continue to work towards initiatives that uplift our region and harness its full potential,” Sharma stated during his visit.
