Kishtwar, DD: Ahead of the Maha Shivratri celebrations, the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Kishtwar, along with the District Traffic Inspector (DTI), conducted an inspection of the Shiv Mandir and Ram Mandir road/area to ensure smooth vehicular movement and hassle-free access for devotees.

The visit focused on identifying and addressing potential traffic bottlenecks, improving parking arrangements, and ensuring the safety of pedestrians. Instructions were given to streamline traffic flow and prevent congestion near religious sites, as a large number of devotees are expected to visit the temples for the festival.

Speaking on the occasion, ARTO Kishtwar emphasized the importance of efficient traffic management during such significant events. “Our goal is to facilitate the devotees by ensuring seamless traffic movement and minimizing inconvenience. We urge citizens to cooperate with the traffic regulations for a smooth and peaceful celebration,” he stated.

Authorities have deployed additional personnel to regulate traffic, assist devotees, and ensure the implementation of necessary arrangements. Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow guidelines and plan their travel accordingly.DD
