Poonch, DD : Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, conducted a surprise visit to the Government Sub District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar late on Thursday evening. The visit aimed at assessing the healthcare services and ensuring the availability of essential medical supplies.
During the inspection, Dr. Khan thoroughly reviewed the stock of medicines and other medical essentials, emphasizing the need for adequate supplies to meet patient demands. He expressed concern over certain shortcomings in patient care and directed the hospital administration to take immediate steps to enhance healthcare services.
To streamline patient flow, the CMO directed the hospital authorities to open two additional counters for issuing OPD slips. He also instructed doctors and paramedical staff to adhere strictly to the prescribed dress code, ensuring a professional environment within the hospital.
The CMO issued clear instructions to revive patient care facilities, urging the staff to prioritize patient welfare and maintain high standards of service. He also emphasized maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the hospital premises.
