Khaltse, DD: The Block Medical Officer (BMO) Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmad, conducted a Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) camp at Takmachik Village, yesterday on March 6, 2025.
The camp provided a range of medical services, including general consultations, gynecological care, dental care, ophthalmic services, NCD (Non-Communicable Disease) counseling, laboratory services, Adolescent-Friendly Health Clinic (AFHC) counseling, and cervical and breast cancer screening.
A total of 145 patients were attended to during the camp:
47 General OPD patients,
31 Dental OPD patients,
29 Gynecology OPD patients,
38 Ophthalmic OPD patients,
45 patients underwent NCD screening.
Additionally, 211 laboratory tests were conducted, and 28 patients were screened for cervical and breast cancer.

Sonam Thinlas and Tashi Lamo – Laboratory Assistants.
