Jammu Muslim Front welcomes J&K’s budget

Shuja Zafar appreciates the CM Omar Abdullah speech, terms budget progressive

Jammu:DD, Shuja Zaffar, Chairman JMF welcome the Jammu and Kashmir government’s budget for the fiscal year, which aims to boost the economy and improve the lives of citizens. The budget’s focus on welfare initiatives, infrastructure development, and economic growth is a step in the right direction.

However, jmf believe that more needs to be done to address the pressing concerns of our citizens.and urge the government to consider the following demands:

Remission of Interest on business loans: We demand that the government provide relief to borrowers by remitting interest on loans, especially for farmers, small business owners, transporters hotliers petty traderer and individuals affected by the pandemic.

Free Electricity for Farmers and Horticulturists: To support our agricultural sector, we demand that the government provide free electricity to farmers and horticulturists, enabling them to increase productivity and competitiveness.

Free Education up to University Level: Education is the key to unlocking the potential of our youth. We demand that the government provide free education up to the university level, ensuring that every citizen has access to quality education.

Stipend for Unemployed Youth: To support our unemployed youth, we demand that the government provide a stipend to help them meet their basic needs while they seek employment or pursue entrepreneurial ventures.

Free Medical Expenses for Senior Citizens: Our senior citizens deserve dignity and care. We demand that the government provide free medical expenses for senior citizens, ensuring that they receive the healthcare they need without financial burden.
Helpline for Senior Citizens: To support our senior citizens, we demand that the government establish a dedicated helpline to provide them with assistance, guidance, and support.

We believe that these demands are critical to ensuring that the benefits of economic growth are shared equitably among all citizens. We urge the government to consider these demands and work towards creating a more just and equitable society for all.DD
