Inclement weather in Kishtwar force authorities to close schools today, postpone driving trail for tomorrow

Kishtwar: DD, The authorities have ordered closing of all the schools in Kishtwar district in the wake of inclement weather conditions.
In view of the ongoing inclement weather conditions and to ensure the safety of students and staff, it is hereby notified that all schools in the Kishtwar District shall remain closed today,” an official, quoting directions from the district administration, said.

The official said that the Chief Education Officer, Kishtwar and all concerned were advised to ensure the closure of schools and take necessary precautions in light of the weather conditions.
Further instructions will be issued as necessary.
“We urge everyone to stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel during adverse weather conditions,” the official added.
Meanwhile, all the SDMs were directed to monitor the situation.
Similarly, the driving trial scheduled for today i.e., 12-03-2025 has been postponed due to continuous rainfall.
Therefore, the driving trail shall be held on tomorrow i.e., on 13-03-2025.DD
