Jammu, DD: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at 12 locations across Jammu as part of an ongoing probe into cross-border terrorist infiltration.
Officials said the raids targeted premises linked to overground workers (OGWs), hybrid terrorists, and sympathizers providing logistical support to infiltrators.
The case (RC-04/2024/NIA/JMU), registered by the NIA on October 24, 2024, following directives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, focuses on terror networks aiding infiltrations by offering shelter, food, and financial assistance in border villages of the Jammu region.
Authorities believe these crackdowns are crucial in dismantling support structures that facilitate cross-border militancy.DD
