Kargil, DD: The District TB Center Kargil today observed World Tuberculosis Day at Syed Mehdi Memorial Hall, Kargil, under the theme “Yes! We Can End TB – Commit, Invest, Deliver.” The event aimed to raise awareness about TB and strengthen efforts to eliminate the disease.
Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon attended the event as the chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kargil was the guest of honor. Several doctors, BMOs, college students, GNM nursing students, ASHA workers, and other stakeholders were present.
Addressing the gathering, CEC Dr. Akhoon congratulated the TB team for their efforts and thanked J&K Bank for providing essential commodities to TB patients.
