Amit Shah to Visit J&K for High-Level Security Review from April 6

Srinagar, DD: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to embark on a three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from April 6 to April 8, during which he will assess the security situation and engage with top officials.

Sources indicate that Shah will tour border areas and chair a high-level security review meeting, which will be attended by senior officials from the Army, police, and intelligence agencies. The visit comes amid heightened security concerns and ongoing counter-terror operations in the region.

Additionally, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is expected to meet with the Home Minister to discuss key governance and security-related issues concerning the Union Territory.

With security and political stability remaining a top priority, the visit is likely to shape future policy decisions for the region.(DD)
