Leh,DD, The Administrative Secretary of the Rural Development Department, Shashanka Ala, IAS, visited the Solid Resource Management Centre (SRMC) at Chuchot Yokma to review the ongoing developmental works under the Rural Development initiatives.
During the visit, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Chuchot, along with concerned staff members and on-site personnel, briefed the Secretary about the current progress and implementation status of the project. The team provided detailed insights into the operational aspects and objectives of the SRMC.
The Secretary also inspected other key facilities in the area, including the Panchayat Ghar and the Common Facility Centre (CFC) of Chuchot Yokma. The visit concluded with an inspection of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) outlets, which have been recently constructed within the same compound.
The visit emphasized the department’s commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure, promoting sustainable waste management practices, and empowering local communities through livelihood initiatives.DD
