Encounter breaks out between security forces & terrorists in Surankote

Major anti-terror operation in progress to neutralize terrorists

Poonch:DD, An Indian army jawan has reportedly sustained minor injuries in an encounter that broke out between the security forces, and the terrorists at Lasana in Surankote, Poonch District.
“A contact was established with the terrorists during a joint operation with the Jammu and Kashmir Police at Lasana in Surankote, last night. Additional troops have been inducted, and search operations are ongoing to prevent the terrorists escaping,” an Army spokesperson said.
As the operation proceeded, the reports claim that a soldier has sustained minor injuries in the ongoing encounter, and he is stated to be stable.
Meanwhile, a massive hunt against the terrorists has been launched by the security forces in Lasana, Surankote in a coordinated manner.
The security forces have intensified their searches and operation is progress till the filing of this report.DD
