Three injured in road mishap as rainfall continues in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, DD: Atleast three people, including a child, sustained injuries in a road mishap at Tagood road in Kishtwar district.“The car went out of control due to a slippery road amid heavy rains, and it skidded off the road from Tagood road. As a result, the car plunged into a roadside gorge, wounding three persons, including a child,” said the locals.They said that the injured were immediately evacuated and shifted them to the District Hospital, Kishtwar. Meanwhile, an investigation into the incident has been initiated.As the inclement weather continues to persist in the hilly district, the locals are informed that a landslide has sunk a portion of the Padder road. The road is yet to be restored as the heavy rains / inclement weather continue to pose a challenge to the authorities. DD
