Hiranagar, DD:-Sh. Phulail Singh, JKAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Hiranagar, today visited Panser Panchayat across the border to address a long-pending issue related to road construction. A 200-meter patch of road was pending execution and the SDM assured the local residents that the compensation for the land would be provided as per the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act for the Gujjar Chak-Kathe link road.
The SDM emphasized that every possible effort would be made to ease the public’s difficulties under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kathua. He urged the public to extend their support to ensure the pace of development in the area.
During his visit, SDM also inspected various schools and other institutions in the area. He visited the Higher Secondary School Chakra, where he interacted with the staff and students. The SDM stressed the importance of punctuality and issued instructions to the staff to maintain regularity and discipline besides impart quality education.
Furthermore, the SDM inspected the mid-day meal scheme in the school and checked the quality of food being provided to the students. This initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to ensuring that students receive nutritious meals, which is essential for their health and academic performance.
