Girl Cadets Visit, Nagrota Military Station as Part of NCC Annual Training Camp

Nagrota: DD, As part of the Annual Training Camp (ATC) being conducted from 17 to 26 April 2025, 150 girl cadets from the 1 J&K NCC Girls Battalion, Srinagar visited the Army Aviation Squadron at Nagrota on 24th April.
The visit aimed to inspire and empower the young cadets by providing first-hand exposure to the operational capabilities and life in Army Aviation.
During the visit, the cadets witnessed an impressive helicopter demonstration and interacted with Army pilots and technical staff, who shared their experiences and insights into aviation operations, teamwork, and the critical role of Army Aviation in national defence.
The event played a significant role in motivating these young girls to pursue careers in the Armed Forces and other national services. It also reinforced values of discipline, leadership, and national integration cornerstones of the NCC’s mission.
The visit left a lasting impression on the cadets, igniting their spirit of adventure and dedication to the nation. Such initiatives continue to serve as vital platforms in shaping the future of India’s youth into responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow.DD
