New Delhi, (DD)Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today lauded the Indian Armed Forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, a major counter-terrorism operation that targeted terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistan.
Speaking at the National Quality Conclave 2025 in New Delhi, Singh emphasised India’s preference for dialogue in resolving disputes but issued a stern warning against attempts to exploit the country’s restraint.
“Our security forces carried out the operation with exemplary courage and precision. Over 100 terrorists were neutralised, and not a single innocent life was lost. This was a focused strike on key terror hubs across the border,” Singh said.
Reiterating India’s commitment to peace, he added, “We believe every issue can and should be resolved through dialogue. But no one should mistake our patience for weakness. Don’t test the limits of our tolerance.”
The Minister’s remarks come in the backdrop of heightened tensions following recent cross-border attacks and shelling. Operation Sindoor is being hailed as a significant success in India’s counter-terror strategy, showcasing both military capability and restraint.(DD)
