Kishtwar Congress Pays Tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on His Death Anniversary

Kishtwar,DD, The Kishtwar District Congress Committee solemnly observed the death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi, by paying heartfelt tributes to his memory and legacy.

The commemorative event was led by senior Jammu and Kashmir Congress leader Ghulam Haider Sheikh and witnessed the participation of several prominent party figures. Among those present were JKPCC Secretary and senior Congress leader Irshad Sheikh, contesting candidate from Inderwal Sheikh Zafarullah, DCC Vice Presidents Ravi Shan and Shafeeq Ahmed, and Bilal Ahmed.

A notable highlight of the occasion was the enthusiastic participation of youth leaders from across Kishtwar.
Key youth leaders in attendance included JKPYC General Secretary Anas Mujtaba Munshi, Mohd Azhar Beigh (Youth Working President, Kishtwar), Sahil Naik, Farashim Ahmed, Abdul Hameed, and Khursheed Ahmed, along with many others.

The leaders fondly recalled Rajiv Gandhi’s vision for a modern and progressive India, emphasizing his contributions to technological advancement, education, and youth empowerment.
The event concluded with a pledge to uphold the values and ideals espoused by the late Prime Minister.DD
