Kargil, DD, Chairman and CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today visited District Hospital Kargil in order to assess the functioning of the Hospital and facilities provided there.
Medical Superintendent, RMO besides concerned officers of District Hospital Kargil accompanied the CEC during the visit.
During the visit, CEC Dr Jaffer visited different wards and sections of the hospital and assessed the facilities provided there. He also took assessment of the works on Blood Bank and directed to expedite the works at earliest.
The CEC also interacted with the patients and asked about the facilities provided to them and also interacted with the Doctors and advised them to work on missionary spirit.
The CEC visited ICU and various wards. The concerned officers informed the CEC about various grievances.
The related to the prayer room the CEC assured that funds have been placed for the construction in new works. He further gave direction to streamline unnecessary parking in the hospital premises and directed to initiate hiring of man power for proper parking on outsourcing.
The CEC also assured that high power street light will be provided to the hospital.
The CEC also visited the under-construction new wing of the hospital and took assessment of the works there.
CEC Dr Jaffer also took assessment of the stock of medicines. He also visited patients suffering injury due to accidents.DD
