ADC Kargil Attends rZamba Trust’s Concluding Ceremony of 7-Day Induction Programme for rISE Educator Fellowship

Kargil, DD, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Imteeaz Kacho today attended rZamba Trust’s concluding ceremony of its seven-day long induction programme for rISE Educator Fellowship – Second Batch in Sankoo. He was welcomed by Stanzin Saldon, CEO-rZamba and her team.

At the outset, the ADC was informed that the induction programme served as an immersive orientation for the newly selected fellows. Through intensive sessions on classroom observation, student assessment, project-based learning and community engagement, the fellows were prepared for their upcoming two-year journey in ten (10) Government Schools across Kargil District.

In his address, Imteeaz Kacho appreciated rZamba Trust’s consistent efforts in the field of education and asserted that he has witnessed its impressive growth over the past few years. He encouraged the fellows to serve as catalysts of change and highlighted the vital role of such grassroots initiatives in improving the quality of education in remote regions like Ladakh.

Kacho witnessed a lively and interactive discussion in an informal setting. The fellows participated in a candid experience-sharing session and spoke their hearts out about their association and journey with rZamba. The rZamba team and the fellows informed him about the innovative learning and teaching methods, including Project-Based Learning, and how the initiatives are aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP).

Pertinently, rISE (rZamba’s Initiative for Sustainable Education) Educator Fellowship is a flagship two-year programme that places committed youth in schools and communities to bridge learning gaps and promote sustainable educational practices. With the induction of its second batch, the programme is scaling its impact further strengthening its presence and reach across Kargil.

Besides the ADC; Stanzin Saldon, CEO-rZamba; Ghulam Murtaza – Programme Lead; Hakima Banoo – Pedagogy Lead, Rifat Amin Lone, SEL-Lead, Syed Murtaza Agha, Co-founder were present on the occasion.DD
