Commissioner reviews facilities, cleanliness measures in City

Jammu, DD, In a concerted effort to enhance facilities for the pilgrims arriving in Jammu for the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav conducted an extensive inspection of key locations across the city today.
During his visit, Dr. Yadav assessed the preparations at the Jammu Railway Station, JDA Parking Bahu Plaza, Nanak Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Banke Bihari Temple, and other prominent areas where arrangements are being made for sanitation, public toilets, and temporary accommodations for the stay of incoming pilgrims.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Yadav emphasized the JMC’s commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment for the devotees visiting from across the country.
“We are putting special focus on sanitation and infrastructure so that pilgrims experience the best possible facilities during their spiritual journey,” he added.
Jammu Municipal Corporation remains dedicated to supporting the smooth conduct of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra and providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, the Commissioner maintained.
Among others, Joint Commissioner Health and Sanitation Abdul Sattar, Health Officer Dr. Vinod Sharma, Executive Engineer (Project) Lokesh Gupta, and Chief Transport Officer Dharamveer Singh, accompanied the Commissioner and reviewed ongoing preparations and assured timely completion of necessary arrangements.DD
