Srinagar, (DD): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today said that comprehensive security arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth and safe conduct of the annual Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to begin on July 3.
Speaking to reporters after reviewing the preparations at the Baltal base camp, the LG stated that both the Amarnath Shrine Board and the Jammu and Kashmir administration have enhanced facilities for pilgrims this year.
“I urge all devotees to participate in large numbers in the holy Yatra and pray for the progress and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire nation,” Sinha said.
He reassured that there is no cause for concern, as the administration, along with security forces including the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army, CRPF, CAPFs, and other agencies, has put in place robust security measures to ensure a safe pilgrimage ( DD)
