Nubra, DD, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Mukul Beniwal IAS convened a meeting with Camel Association Nubra to discuss the safety and well-being of Bactrian camels in the Nubra region at SDM Office Complex Diskit today on 11 june.
During the meeting, He discussed various camel related issues including regular medical checkups and maintenance of cleanliness, health and hygiene. He directed Block Veterinary Officer Nubra to undertake organized tagging of all the camels and update records. In addition issues pertaining to stray camels, watch guards in winters and progress of projects by the tourism department were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Block Veterinary Officer Diskit, Livestock Development Officer Diskit and Naib Tehsildar Diskit.
