Secretary, S&TW Department chairs preparatory meeting ahead of Union Finance Minister’s visit to Ladakh

Leh, DD, Secretary, Social and Tribal Welfare (S&TW) Department, Shashanka Ala, chaired a preparatory meeting today to review and finalise arrangements for the upcoming visit of the Hon’ble Union Finance Minister to the UT of Ladakh.

The meeting focused on detailed planning for the Minister’s itinerary, which includes visits to Leh and several remote areas of the region. Discussions covered logistical requirements, site preparations, and inter-departmental coordination to ensure the visit proceeds smoothly and successfully.

Secretary Ala emphasised the importance of seamless coordination among all concerned departments and officials. She reviewed and finalised key aspects of the visit, including scheduled stopovers, hospitality arrangements, cultural programs, and ceremonial receptions to be held at various locations.

Secretary Ala urged all departments to maintain constant communication and ensure that all arrangements reflect the highest standards of professionalism and hospitality.

The visit of the Union Finance Minister is expected to be a significant event for the region, highlighting developmental priorities and strengthening the Union Government’s engagement with Ladakh.DD
