Leh, DD, Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson was called on by a delegation comprising Councillor Tashi Tundup, BJP District President, Sham Konchok Ishey Stak, President of Druk Staksing Dodik Tsogspa, Tia, Jigmat Namgyal, Nambardar Tsering Angchuk and other committee members.
The delegation apprised the CEC of the forthcoming visit of His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa to Tia Village in 2026 for the consecration ceremony of the newly sculpted statue of Manjushri and related spiritual teachings.
They requested a joint tour programme with concerned departmental officials to assess the required preparations and requested support to ensure timely completion of infrastructural and logistical arrangements ahead of the sacred event.
CEC assured the delegation of all necessary support for the visit.DD
