Kargil, DD, Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Agha Syed Mujtaba, formally flagged off a group of girls for a day long geological tour to Karpokhar, under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), here from Council Secretariat today.
Director Social and Tribal Welfare, Director Tourism, Director Education besides students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil, Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education and Munshi Habibullah Mission School besides concerned officers were present during the flag-off ceremony.
The tour aims to offer students firsthand learning about geology and natural resources, aligning with the objectives of the BBBP scheme to promote education, awareness, and empowerment of the girl child.DD
