Diplomat Correspondent

Srinagar, (DD) Residents of Jammu and Kashmir can expect slight relief from the prevailing heatwave over the next 24 hours, with scattered thundershowers and monsoon activity likely, particularly across the Jammu region.

According to forecast insights by Kashmir Weather, temperatures in Kashmir valley may dip slightly on Sunday. However, a brief spike is expected again on Monday and Tuesday.

A major weather relief is anticipated from Wednesday/Thursday onwards, when a sharp fall in temperatures is expected across most parts of the Union Territory, signaling a more active monsoon phase.

Citizens are advised to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, and monitor official advisories for weather-related updates(DD)
