LEH, DD, An Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camp, under the initiative of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan held today at the Kharnakling Community Hall in Choglamsar. The campaign successfully provided essential services and raised awareness about government welfare schemes to the local residents in the area.
Various departments actively participated in the campaign, aiming to reach the general public directly. Among them were the Revenue Department, Education Department, Agriculture Department, Horticulture Department, Health Department, ICDS, Animal Husbandry Department, Sheep Husbandry Department, FCS&CA, Rural Development Department, Social Welfare Department, DIC Leh as well as Punjab National Bank, Centre for Financial Literacy and others. These departments offered on-the-spot services, provided valuable information, and addressed public queries regarding various government schemes and welfare initiatives.
Local residents received several services and benefits during the camp. These included the issuance of 15 Ration Card, 5 PM Kiss Samman Nidhi Yojana, 4 Ayushman Bharat card generated and 12 downloaded, 2 KCC, 3 PM Jeevan Jyoti Bema Yojana, 02 PM Matru Bandana Yojana and other services. Free medical check-ups and Anemia screening were also conducted, and attendees received information on various schemes.
Residents of Kharnakling and near areas actively engaged in the camp, taking advantage of services such as immediate certificate issuance, health screenings, and awareness sessions on agricultural practices. They also benefited from pension scheme enrollment, livestock care consultations, and the distribution of informative materials on public welfare schemes. Through the Dharti Aabha Abhiyan camp, departments directly extended their services and disseminated information, ensuring immediate assistance and delivery to residents.
