Srinagar, (DD):Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, chaired a crucial meeting to review the final arrangements for the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. With thousands of pilgrims expected to undertake the holy journey, the LG stressed the need for meticulous planning and seamless execution to ensure a safe and smooth pilgrimage.
During the meeting, LG Sinha directed concerned authorities to give wide publicity to the Traffic Advisory, so that common citizens are not inconvenienced during the Yatra period. He emphasised the importance of effective coordination among departments and real-time communication with the public.
Deputy Commissioners were specifically instructed to ensure that all Lodgement Centres are fully functional and equipped with necessary amenities. Special focus was laid on the availability of clean and hygienic sanitation units along the Yatra routes.
The Lieutenant Governor reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to ensuring a spiritually enriching and safe experience for the devotees, highlighting that every effort must be made to uphold the sanctity and tradition of the revered pilgrimage.(DD)
