Kishtwar:DD, The encounter between the security forces, and the trapped group of terrorists has entered the second day in the upper reaches of Kuchal Chatroo Sub Division, Kishtwar District.
According to reports, the anti-terror operation resumed. “As the search joint parties of security forces advanced towards the terrorists, they opened heavy fire towards the security forces,” said the sources.
They said that the firing continued from both sides. Meanwhile, elite commandos of the Indian Army and additional security forces have also been rushed to the area to strengthen the Cordon and Search Operation (CASO).
The operation is undergoing under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar, Naresh Singh and senior Indian Army officers. Till the filing of this report, the encounter was in progress.DD
