Conduct of Medical Patrol at Naili, Rajouri

Rajouri:DD, With the aim of providing basic medical facilities to the residents of Nerian village in Naili, Rajouri (Jammu and Kashmir), the Indian Army organized a medical patrol on 16 July 2025.

This initiative was undertaken to raise awareness among the people in remote areas about various diseases, their symptoms and proactive measures to prevent them.

The Army’s medical patrol team interacted with the villagers, including the Sarpanch, Panches and the local populace, offering free health check-ups and distributing essential medicines.

A total of 43 villagers received medical consultation and medicines during the patrol.

The medical patrol program provided much-needed healthcare to the local population, who often face significant challenges in accessing medical services due to the difficult terrain and remoteness of the area.

In addition, the Army conducted a lecture emphasizing the importance of good eating habits, a balanced diet, and personal hygiene to enhance the overall well-being and happiness of the residents.

This event received an enthusiastic response from the local community, who expressed their appreciation for the Army’s genuine efforts. The villagers gathered at the venue, seeking constructive suggestions to improve their livelihoods.

The initiative was highly regarded by the local populace and further strengthened the bond between the Army and the people of the region.

The event highlighted the Army’s unwavering commitment to serving the nation and showcased the crucial role of the Indian Army in reaching out to remote areas, where civil administration often has limited access.

This effort will go a long way in building and reinforcing trust between the Army and the local community.DD
