Indian Army Conducts Medical Patrol to Support Remote Communities

Diplomat Correspondent

Rajouri:DD, As part of its ongoing commitment to providing essential healthcare services to remote areas, the Indian Army conducted a medical patrol in Gajore, Rajouri District, on 15 July 2025. The patrol, which included Army medical personnel, offered free medical aid and treatment to 17 local civilians.

This medical patrol is part of the Indian Army’s broader initiative to reach out to underserved areas and ensure that medical services are accessible to those in need.

The effort aims to build trust, strengthen cooperation and reinforce the bond between the Army and local communities, with a focus on ensuring the health and well-being of the people.

The Army’s medical team provided comprehensive medical check-ups, distributed essential medicines and offered health and hygiene guidance to the villagers.

This initiative underscores the Army’s unwavering commitment to community service and highlights its role in enhancing healthcare in remote and hard-to-reach areas.

By conducting such medical patrols, the Indian Army is bridging the gap in healthcare services, making a tangible difference in the lives of people in these remote regions.

The local community has expressed their gratitude for the Army’s selfless efforts, which have been instrumental in improving access to medical treatment and care.DD
