Udhampur :TDD, In a powerful display of civic duty and resilience, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Operational) Sukhvir Singh, who was recently injured in an encounter with terrorists in Mandli Village of Billawar, Kathua District, cast his vote in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election. Despite his injuries, DSP Singh, accompanied by his wife, visited a polling station located in the Tehsildar office complex in Udhampur to exercise his democratic right. This act of participation highlights the determination of law enforcement personnel to contribute to the democratic process, even in the face of security challenges. The DSP’s presence at the polls serves as a testament to the ongoing efforts to maintain normalcy and democratic practices in the region, despite the persistent threat of terrorism.TDD
