Srinagar, (DD): In a major push to bolster the healthcare infrastructure and provide employment opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, the government has announced the advertisement of 621 new posts in the Health & Medical Education Department.
This development comes in line with the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister to strengthen public health services while simultaneously addressing unemployment among the region’s educated youth.
Health Minister Sakina Itoo, while sharing the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), said, “In line with the vision of Hon’ble CM to strengthen healthcare services and boost youth employment, we are pleased to announce the advertisement of 621 posts in the Health & Medical Education Department.”
The recruitment drive is expected to cover a broad range of medical, paramedical, and administrative positions essential for enhancing healthcare delivery in the Union Territory.
The move has been widely welcomed by aspiring job seekers and healthcare professionals, who see this as a step toward both improving patient care and generating livelihood opportunities.
